A leading automotive company seeks a Staff Software Safety Architect to lead safety initiatives in the development of software for Infotainment and Connectivity systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, conducting safety analyses, defining requirements, and ensuring compliance with safety standards for software solutions critical in vehicles.
Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Mountain View, CA, Austin, TX, or Warren, MI three times per week, at minimum.
The Role
As a member of the Infotainment and Connectivity Software Safety team, the Staff Software Safety Architect leads and supports safety initiatives in all phases of system development (concept, requirements, design, implementation, verification and validation) for software that is core to our Infotainment and Connectivity systems. You will conduct safety analyses and will create safety requirements for components of the software platform (e.g., middleware, platform health diagnostics, Linux OS) and will provide guidance to the software development teams to develop and verify safe platform software solutions for vehicles today and tomorrow.

Minimum Education Required
Compensation : The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington.
The salary range for this role is 195,000 to 298,000 . The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
