Collins Aerospace seeks a Software Librarian to provide technical software and document release support to engineering, with potential to expand into archive, rebuild, and release of software and documentation.

What You Will Do:

1. Review, validate, correct, and archive engineering master data for software releases (software and documentation).
2. Install and configure development tools for software rebuilds on multiple OS (VMS, Unix, Windows, Linux) and troubleshoot rebuild issues.
3. Use business systems like SAP, PDM, Global Trade, TPIP, etc., to complete work.
4. Work under detailed instructions on routine work, with instructions needed for new assignments, and work under limited supervision.
5. Communicate primarily with immediate work unit and internal engineering customers.
6. Handle assignments that are well defined with limited complexity, recognizing when deviation is needed.
7. Possess moderate knowledge of the job, understanding general aspects and some detailed aspects, applying skills and learning company policies.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship.
• AA/AS degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of the Software and Document Release Process.
• Familiarity with Microsoft O365 applications.
• Knowledge of multiple OS (Windows, Linux, VMS, Unix).

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Associates in Electronics or similar field.
• Experience with Enovia PDM.
• Knowledge of Global Trade and TPIP.
• Outstanding customer service and strong communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
