We’re looking for engineers who are:
Design, build, and maintain scalable software applications and backend services.
Develop APIs, microservices, and cloud architectures to power modern products.
Optimize databases, caching layers, and distributed computing environments.
Collaborate with front-end teams to integrate systems and enhance user experiences (if applicable).
Work with founders and product teams to align engineering strategy with business needs.
Ensure security, performance, and reliability of core applications.
Establish best practices for software development, DevOps, and CI/CD workflows.
While each startup has its own hiring criteria, many staff software engineering roles in our network look for:
5+ years of experience in backend, infrastructure, or full-stack software engineering.
Proficiency in backend frameworks (Node.js, Django, Flask, Ruby on Rails, FastAPI, Spring Boot).
Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus for full-stack roles.
Strong experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis).
Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps workflows, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
Strong coding skills in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, Java, or Ruby.
Familiarity with high-performance computing, distributed systems, and large-scale architectures.
Experience in early-stage startups or lean teams is a plus.

Other Tools: REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch.
