Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is hiring a Staff Software Engineer - Thread Lead for on-site work in San Diego, El Segundo, or Oklahoma City. The role requires leading data-centric initiatives across IPTs, owning the end-to-end lifecycle from requirements to delivery.

The ideal candidate has TS clearance, strong leadership, and experience in data architecture and analytics. Relocation may be available; travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM with 12 years of related engineering experience, or Master’s with 10 years, or PhD with 8 years.
• Technical project lead and Product Owner accountability for outcomes.
• Experience with data acquisition, storage, processing and analysis including big data challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple data solutions across programs and IPTs.
• Act as SME for data acquisition, processing, and dissemination.
