Curri seeks a Staff Software Engineer to steer the Technology team with architectural direction and scalable systems leadership. You will review architecture, unblock teams, and shape technology roadmaps while continuing to contribute code.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building production software and owning architecture/technical direction.
• Experience leading system design for scalable, reliable production infrastructure.
• Credible architecture reviews across stack (backend and/or UI).
• Fluency with AI‑paired delivery and ability to coach others in using it well.
• Demonstrated mentorship track record with engineers at multiple levels.
• Strong, direct communication for engineering, product, and leadership.
• Ability to influence technical direction through trust and clarity.

Responsibilities

• Architect and guide the design of scalable systems across multiple teams.
• Lead architecture reviews and design discussions for several projects concurrently.
• Unblock engineers by tackling gnarly technical problems and roadblocks.
• Stay hands‑on and ship production code while leveraging AI tooling.
• Mentor engineers and help them grow into technical leadership roles.
• Identify systemic risks and drive cross‑team investments to fix them.
• Translate business priorities into technical roadmaps with leadership partners.
