About the job

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) combines software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, massively distributed, fault-tolerant systems. SRE ensures that Google Cloud's services—both our internally critical and our externally-visible systems—have reliability, uptime appropriate to customer's needs and a fast rate of improvement. Additionally SRE’s will keep an ever-watchful eye on our systems capacity and performance.

In this role, you will architect resilient, automated production environments that meet stringent Service Level Objectives. You will lead the team through some of Google's most pressing issues, including: scaling our architecture across the portfolio to accommodate exponentially growing demands for infrastructure capacity, supporting the growing business and compliance needs across different product areas, and adapting our operational models to support highly accelerated product development cycles.
