Job summary

Google Mountain View, CA, USA is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for Search Ads Syndication Quality AI/ML to lead large-scale ML projects and drive end-to-end solutions.

You will provide technical leadership, coordinate across teams, and design ML systems, with emphasis on deployment, data processing, and model optimization in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 5 years of experience testing, launching software products, and 3 years of software design and architecture.
• 5 years of experience with one or more ML areas (speech/audio, RL, ML infra, or related).
• 5 years leading ML design and end-to-end ML deployment, evaluation, data processing, debugging, tuning.
• Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.

• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
  
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
