You’ll work directly with the teams running the business, embedding with sales, operations, customer service, and underwriting to understand where things break, identify opportunities for leverage, and build solutions that create measurable business impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Ship AI-powered features end-to-end across frontend, backend, automation, and intelligent decision‑making systems
• Own business outcomes, not tickets, with direct responsibility for improving metrics such as conversion, operational efficiency, customer experience, and revenue
• Embed directly with operational teams to uncover bottlenecks and solve problems before they become major issues
• Build products and systems that become smarter over time through feedback loops, automation, and AI-powered workflows
• Use modern AI tooling to dramatically increase development velocity
• Rapidly test, validate, and launch new ideas with real users
• Stay on top of emerging AI capabilities and quickly turn new technology into practical customer value
• Set up metrics, measure impact, and communicate results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Work directly with founders and senior leadership on some of the company's highest-priority initiatives
• Strong software engineering experience building and shipping production systems
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or similar languages
• Experience shipping AI-powered products or features to real users
• Strong full‑stack capabilities across frontend, backend, and AI-powered workflows
• Experience working with LLMs, agent workflows, automation systems, or AI-enabled products
• A highly product‑mindful approach to engineering
• Strong ownership mentality with a focus on customer and business outcomes
• Ability to move quickly, operate independently, and thrive in ambiguity
• Comfortable working directly with business stakeholders and explaining the impact of your work
• Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate
