Zusammenfassung

EnterpriseDB is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain analytics features including ClickHouse extensions. You will work on core analytics products and migrate tools within the PostgreSQL ecosystem to enable real-time analytics and improved performance.

The role requires upstream ClickHouse contributions, strong C/C++/Rust/Go skills, and deep knowledge of database internals. This is a 100% remote opportunity with global collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of database internals development experience (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Upstream contributions to the ClickHouse OSS project required.
• Deep expertise in C, C++, Rust, or Go systems programming.
• Experience with distributed query optimizers (Orca).
• CS fundamentals (algorithms, OS internals, data structures).
• Proficiency in Linux-based software development and debugging.
• Experience optimizing analytical database system performance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop PostgreSQL database features and tools, focusing on ClickHouse real time analytics.
• Review and refine code contributions to ensure quality.
• Write and maintain regression tests for bug fixes and new features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database, network, and software-related issues.
