You'll own banking systems end-to-end, drive AI-native innovations, and lead a team in a cloud-native Scala/TypeScript stack on Google Cloud. This role demands hands-on coding, architectural leadership, and collaboration with partners to ensure reliability and compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years delivering enterprise-class applications with backend focus.
• 5+ years designing complex distributed systems at scale.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent.
• Proficient in TypeScript and/or Scala; strong API design with GraphQL.
• Experience with microservices, cloud infra, and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Own critical banking systems end-to-end across the stack.
• Architect for scale, correctness, and trust with high availability.
• Spend 60–70% of time writing production code while guiding the team.
• Lead the event-driven backbone with Kafka-based patterns.
• Drive AI-native innovations and measure impact with metrics.
• Mentor engineers, run design reviews, and communicate clearly.
