  • Lead architectural discussions and make technical decisions across frontend, backend, and distributed systems.
  • Establish patterns for building scalable, secure, reliable, and maintainable applications.
  • Guide the evolution of the technology stack as the platform matures and scales.
  • Drive technical initiatives that improve system performance, reliability, developer experience, and engineering quality.
Design & Build
  • Architect and build production‑grade full stack applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, C#/.NET, and AWS.
  • Design and implement event‑driven architectures using AWS services, Kafka, and modern data pipelines.
  • Build responsive frontend experiences that make complex document management workflows intuitive and efficient.

  • Instrument applications with logging, metrics, distributed tracing, and telemetry to proactively identify and diagnose issues.
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to scalability and reliability.
  • Ensure security, performance, and compliance requirements are incorporated throughout system design and implementation.
  • Proactively identify and address technical debt across the platform.
Problem Solving & Ownership
  • Own complex technical initiatives from initial design through production deployment and ongoing evolution.
  • Solve challenges across areas such as real‑time search, event‑driven document processing, frontend performance, and distributed systems.
  • Evaluate architectural trade‑offs across performance, usability, security, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Create clear technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, system designs, and key technical decisions.
Collaboration & Mentorship
  • Partner closely with Product and Design to translate customer and business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Mentor engineers across experience levels and help elevate technical capabilities and engineering practices across the team.
  • Collaborate with Platform Services and other engineering teams on shared infrastructure and integration points.
  • Build alignment around technical approaches and provide clear direction when decisions need to be made.
  • Lead knowledge sharing through code reviews, design discussions, documentation, and hands‑on technical guidance.
