What You’ll Do
- Senior Technical Product Manager to drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution of innovative solutions that help legal professionals do their best work.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, translate customer needs into actionable product direction, and collaborate with Engineering, Design, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-value, user-centered solutions.
- Manage our Authentication, Authorization, Access Controls, Data Loss Prevention, Ethical Walls, and Directory services.
- Evaluate the impact and opportunities of new technologies as they relate to customer needs and NetDocuments’ broader product ecosystem.
- Recommend the vision, scope, and direction of current and future product offerings, including assessing new product ideas and potential enhancements.
- Determine customer needs by conducting market research, gathering insights, and participating in customer validation initiatives.
- Assess the market landscape by analyzing competitive products, trends, and positioning.
- Support investment and development planning by preparing ROI analyses and partnering with Engineering and IT to establish estimates and timelines.
- Maintain industry expertise by engaging in professional development, attending workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in relevant networks.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure alignment and successful product delivery.
- Translate complex customer requirements into clear, actionable product concepts and solutions.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
What You’ll Need to be Successful
- 5–8 years of experience in legal technology, software development, and/or product management.
- Background in and experience with authentication and security.
- Prior Product Management experience strongly preferred; prior Software Engineering experience is a plus.
- Strong technical background and ability to understand engineering concepts and constraints.
- Demonstrated ability to use qualitative and quantitative insights to prioritize and guide decision-making.
- Metrics-driven mindset with strong analytical and synthesis skills—able to distill large amounts of data into actionable insights.
- Experience with agile/scrum methodologies and lean product development principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting to large and senior audiences.
- Strong relationship management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Passion for building impactful products and delivering exceptional user experiences.

- Experience with Azure DevOps.
- Experience with AWS.
- Background working in legal technology or adjacent industries.
- Demonstrated success owning a product area end-to-end in a SaaS environment.

Compensation Transparency
The compensation range for this position is: $125,000 - $150,000
The posted cash compensation for this position includes on target earnings. Some roles may qualify for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are determined based on various factors specific to each candidate, such as career level, skills, experience, geographic location, qualifications, and other job-related considerations.
