Job description

Minimum qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

+ 8 years of experience in software engineering and 3 years of experience as a technical lead.

+ Experience with distributed systems and data analytics.

+ Experience with queuing systems (e.g., Kafka).

Preferred qualifications:

+ Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

+ Experience with containerization and Kubernetes (K8s) on cloud.

+ Experience in developing cloud services.

Our focus is on seamlessly supporting Kafka workloads on Google Cloud Platform with effortless integration into services like BigQuery. As a tech lead on this team, you'll be instrumental in developing and leading this product. You'll also be crucial in architecting the service for enhanced availability, massive scale, and deeper Google Cloud Platform integration.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
