Job summary

Horizon3 is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the technical work for NodeZero's defensive agents, translating proven attack paths into continuous actionable remediation. You will set direction with AI researchers and engineers, guiding architectural strategy for autonomous remediation as a core capability.

You will write production code weekly, review peers' PRs, and partner with Product to sequence the right problems. Expect cross-team collaboration and a multi-tenant, secure platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms and container technologies.
• Deep experience with production-grade distributed systems.
• Strong SQL design and querying skills.
• Proven track record shipping production services and on-call ownership.

Responsibilities

• Owns end-to-end technical vision for the workstream and rallies the team.
• Contribute production code weekly in a modern backend language.
• Lead design reviews, code quality, and operational discipline.
• Mentor engineers and build scalable frameworks and architectures.
• Interface between AI research and platform engineering.
• Translate product goals into concrete technical roadmaps.
