Snowflake is building an elastic, cloud-native compute platform as part of its Compute Platform. As a Staff Software Engineer for Snowpark Container Service, you will design and deliver high-scale features that empower customers to run containerized workloads inside Snowflake with reliability.

Lead a team of engineers, set technical direction, and partner with cross-functional teams to align product goals with architectural choices.

Competenze

• 10+ years of industry experience building features and capabilities of large-scale systems.
• Strong fundamental computer science skills and experience with distributed systems.
• Hands-on coding experience in Java, C++ or Go.

Mansioni

• Design and develop features, understand customer requirements and meet business goals.
• Lead a team of engineers, mentor them, and define technical direction for key areas.
• Manage all project aspects: design, coding, reviews, testing, observability, tooling, on-call.
• Build highly reliable, fault-tolerant software for large customers.
• Ensure operability, reliability, availability, debuggability, and performance.
• Design and build Kubernetes-based OCI-compliant container compute platform features.
• Contribute to Snowflake's growth by delivering impactful compute surface capabilities.
