Ladders is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, iOS - Subscription Growth to drive growth-focused iOS engineering for a healthcare digital product. You will lead experimentation, shape subscription features, and improve the mobile experience with data-informed decisions.

Collaborating with product, design, analytics, and engineering, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of premium subscriptions, mentor teammates, and deliver robust iOS solutions in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on iOS engineering experience.

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Software Engineer, iOS - Subscription Growth to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will drive iOS engineering efforts focused on subscription growth, premium experiences, and user conversion within a healthcare-focused digital product. You will lead experimentation, shape subscription-related features, and help improve the mobile experience through thoughtful technical execution and data-informed decision-making. The position partners closely with product, design, analytics, and engineering stakeholders to support business growth and enhance the customer journey. Location: Remote. Compensation: $160,000 - $210,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth experimentation through A/B tests for upsell opportunities and premium paywalls
• Oversee the full lifecycle of premium subscriptions, ensuring customer satisfaction

• Proficient in refactoring architectural patterns
• Experience with multithreaded programming and relational databases
• Skilled in automating the build and publication processes for iOS apps
