What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with product managers, team members, customers, and engineering teams to address complex challenges
- Execute a strategic software development plan focusing on IaaS, virtual machines, containers, and Kubernetes
- Own accountability for the quality, usability, and performance of developed solutions
- Share best practices and improve processes within and across teams
- Provide operational support and fulfill on-call responsibilities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong background in software engineering and system architecture
- Minimum of 6 years of PaaS and IaaS software development experience
- Experience with REST APIs, Kubernetes APIs, microservices, and containers
- Proficiency in Kubernetes with hands-on experience in cluster provisioning and management
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Familiarity with Crossplane and/or Kubevirt for virtual machine provisioning
- Relevant cloud and container certifications
- Knowledge of security best practices for secure configurations and data protection
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement resilient, scalable, and efficient solutions
