Job summary

Refinitiv is seeking a Lead Engineer to join the CoCounsel Application Experience team in Eagan, MN. You will own end-to-end full-stack solutions across frontend and backend, with hands-on work in React, TypeScript, and Python, including AI-powered capabilities like agentic workflows and MCP-based tooling.

You will establish technical standards, collaborate across product and design, and mentor engineers, delivering high-impact, customer-facing features in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production web applications used by real customers, with active, hands-on coding contributions in the last 2–3 years.
  • Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, and TypeScript, plus frontend architecture knowledge.
  • Hands-on API and services development in Python, working knowledge of Node.js, and familiarity with GenAI concepts including prompt engineering, agentic system design, LLM orchestration frameworks, and MCP.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership via influence, not authority, guiding architectural decisions and reducing technical debt.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
