Job summary

Google Sunnyvale, CA, USA is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for Google Workspace, AI/ML to lead design and delivery of large-scale ML features across Gmail, Docs, and Workspace. Gmail Trust and Compliance Infrastructure's mission is to build and maintain infrastructure to keep Gmail and Chat data secure, and to enable rapid development of GenAI based features in Gmail, Workspace and across Google.
The team builds services and pipelines that ensure safety, compliance and the processing of all of Gmail data at scale. Gmail is one of the largest consumer products in the world. This large scale brings unique issues for any technology we use. The team builds and maintains batch and incremental processing infrastructure that can reliably process all of Gmail data within tight Service Level Objectives (SLOs), to power key features for our customers.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $207000 - $300000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
