Job description

Minimum qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

+ 8 years of experience in software development.

+ 5 years of experience with front-end frameworks, full-stack development, or API development.

+ 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

+ Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

+ Experience with GraphQL.

Preferred qualifications:

+ Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

+ 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.

+ 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.

+ 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.

+ Experience with TypeScript and Angular.

With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

As a Technical lead on the gStore team, you will drive the architecture across our serving layer (e.g., web and middle-tier layers). You will not only solve our most technical issues but also mentor other engineers and establish best practices. You will play a key role in enabling delightful, intelligent web experiences and improving developer efficiency.

Google Store focuses on building relationships with customers and providing the best experiences with our devices and services. Google Store offers first-party retail experiences with our products, both online and at our physical retail stores in New York City, Mountain View and Boston.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. + Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects.

+ Serve as a subject matter expert, guiding the technical direction across the gStore ecosystem.

+ Lead technical engineering efforts while actively contributing to the codebase.
