About The Role

We seek a Staff Software Engineer with 8+ years of experience to lead backend development, optimize system performance, and scale our solutions. You will work closely with founders and a team of experienced entrepreneurs, engineers, and MBAs, contributing to complex backend challenges, coding, and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design complex, scalable systems, experimenting with technologies to optimize development speed.
• Participate in product feature decisions, balancing short-term needs with long-term scalability.
• Shape and refine our technical vision aligned with company goals.
• Improve engineering processes, tools, and systems for better scalability and efficiency.
• Recruit, interview, and nurture engineering talent, fostering a culture of excellence and humility.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and interns, promoting growth and innovation.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, especially in shipping high-quality ML products at scale.
• Strong ability to translate business ideas into engineering solutions with ownership and leadership.
