About the role:

We're an integration tool built by engineers for engineers coming off a strong 2024 and leaning into our product by adding Senior Full Stack Software Engineers to the team. You'll work on features that impact thousands of customers globally, shaping how integrations are built. You'll collaborate with internal teams to enhance customer solutions and work closely with product to develop new features. Your work will directly improve both new functionality and performance for our customers' software.

Prismatic is built primarily in TypeScript, using Python and Django on the backend and React on the frontend. We build a sophisticated Low-Code integration builder for users who want a WYSIWYG interface, as well as an SDK and tools for building integrations fully in Typescript. Additionally we provide features for powering the AI Agent functionality of our customers. We're looking for you to apply your experience within this environment and make a meaningful impact on our codebase. You'll participate in technical decision-making and planning while helping our engineering team grow their capabilities.

What you will do:

  • Lead the definition and evolution of portions of the technical roadmap.
  • Write clean, maintainable, production-ready code that meets high-quality standards
  • Architect, and lead major projects from conception through production deployment
  • Support and empower your cross-functional team of engineers, designers, product managers and business stakeholders
  • Collaborate and contribute as a member of a full-stack product development team
  • Create strong developer experiences through our dashboard, documentation, APIs, and SDKs
  • Engage directly with customers and partners as a technical expert to understand their challenges and translate complex requirements into well architected, scalable solutions

About you:

  • 6+ years of progressive experience in professional software development, with a track record of technical leadership and architectural contributions, ideally in startups.
  • Experience building and interacting with GraphQL APIs, especially in Python
  • Demonstrated expertise building and evolving large-scale, distributed production systems
  • A commitment to working in a communicative and collaborative environment
  • You write code that can be easily understood by others, with an eye towards maintainability
  • You are a strong advocate for engineering excellence, automated testing, and other engineering best practices

Bonus if you have experience with/in:

  • Shipping developer-facing tools, SDKs or APIs to production
  • Experience with formal or informal technical mentorship that has elevated the capabilities of an engineering team.
  • Experience in Generative AI tools and Products (Cursor, Windsurf, Claude, MCP)
  • Frontend - Typescript & React
  • SDKs - Typescript

Pay range:

  • The pay range for this role is $185,000 - $200,000/yr USD.

Remote work: Our team works remotely across the US; we travel together 2x times a year for company kick-offs and mid-year meetings.
