Job summary

Muon Space is seeking a senior software engineer to design, develop, and test flight software for our satellite systems built on ARM Cortex-M CPUs.

You will lead technical efforts across cross-functional teams, translate concepts into working implementations, and support on-orbit operations and technology selection.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in CS, EE, or related field.
• 7+ years of software engineering with strong C/C++ and embedded systems fundamentals.
• Experience on government/defense projects and current TS clearance.

Job description

• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field.

Nice-to-have Skills:

• Experience in flight software or closely related domain.
• Familiarity with ProtoBuf, YAML, JSON, Rust, Python, Linux.
• Knowledge of embedded Linux, FPGA, HW design, RF, or network architecture.
