Job summary

Coinbase seeks an architect and senior backend engineer to design distributed backend systems and foundational infrastructure powering customer service and compliance platforms. You will define strategic roadmaps and mentor engineers to raise engineering quality.

You will lead technical direction, own cloud and DevOps practices, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, high-traffic services using Go, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with Go
• Experience building scalable, high-traffic backend services
• Hands-on cloud infrastructure and DevOps tooling experience
• Proven track record leading technical projects
