About The Team

Our Financial Data Integrity Team ensures trust and accuracy in our financial ecosystem by designing, implementing, and managing the substantiation platform that safeguards financial data integrity across global systems, enabling compliance and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance, scalable reconciliation systems processing billions of transactions daily.
• Make technical decisions balancing immediate business needs with scalability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate with financial systems, ERPs, and data warehouses.
• Develop core components of the substantiation platform, ensuring high-quality, efficient code.
• Guide and mentor other engineers, improve best practices, and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Work with Finance, Compliance, and Business Intelligence teams to implement solutions for complex business needs.
• Explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, economics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years in data engineering.
• At least 4 years of experience with Snowflake, SQL, or similar.
• Experience in building consumer data lakes and developing analytics capabilities.
• Strong skills in SQL, NoSQL, relational database design, and data retrieval methods at scale.
• Proven ability to process raw data at scale, including scripting, API integration, and SQL querying.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL, and query languages like Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to integrate platforms with financial systems and data warehouses.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
