Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies seeks an experienced Staff Software Engineer to provide deep technical leadership across multiple teams and drive the design and execution of complex, cross-cutting engineering initiatives. As a Staff engineer you will be a key technical voice in shaping architecture, raising the engineering bar, and helping the organization deliver ambitious technical roadmaps.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
Eight or more years of professional software engineering experience.
Proven track record of leading complex, cross-team engineering initiatives.
Deep expertise in at least one of distributed systems, cloud platforms, or large-scale data systems.
Strong programming skills in at least one major backend language.
Excellent system-design and architecture skills.
Demonstrated mentorship and technical leadership of senior engineers.
Strong understanding of operational excellence, reliability, and observability.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Track record of influencing engineering culture and standards.

Responsibilities

Provide deep technical leadership across multiple teams.
Drive the design and execution of complex, cross-cutting engineering initiatives.
Shape architecture and raise the engineering bar.
Mentor junior and senior engineers and participate in code/design reviews.
Collaborate with product, design, operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutions.
