Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience programming in C++.
5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
5 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

Responsibilities

Lead large-scale architectural and reliability initiatives in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data plane, from design to scalable code.
Develop domain expertise in building and operating hyper-reliable GCP ring-0 infrastructure.
Balance on-call and development work while driving cross-team execution and velocity.
Provide technical oversight to ensure architecture and long-term maintainability of core platforms.
Foster teamwork and invest in growing team members.
