Taxbit is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our Systems, Security & Compliance organization and take ownership of the cloud infrastructure powering our platform. You will lead AWS architecture, automation, and operational excellence of systems that our customers rely on.
You will influence AI Ops/AI DevOps practices, deploy, monitor, and secure AI-enabled pipelines, and partner with engineering, security, and compliance teams to raise reliability and velocity across Taxbit.

TaxBit is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Systems, Security & Compliance organization and take ownership of the cloud infrastructure that powers our platform. In this role, you will be a technical leader for our AWS environment, driving the architecture, automation, and operational excellence of systems that our customers and internal teams depend on. You will also help shape and drive our AI (Dev)Ops strategy, defining how we deploy, monitor, and operate AI-enabled systems responsibly and at scale. You will have broad influence over how we build, deploy, secure, and monitor infrastructure at scale, partnering closely with engineering, security, and compliance stakeholders to raise the bar on reliability, security, and developer velocity across the company.
The base salary range for this role is $130,000-$210,000. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits. Actual compensation will vary depending on various job-related factors, including, but not limited to location, experience, level, and job qualifications.
