Job summary

Remote DXB is seeking an experienced Android engineering leader to drive technical delivery and mentor a team of developers. You will champion AI-assisted development patterns, implement MVVM architecture, and collaborate with product teams to build robust mobile software that interfaces with printers and payment terminals.

The role requires a strong background in Android SDK, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and experience publishing native apps.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related STEM field.
• 8+ years hands-on experience building robust mobile software.
• Expert knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose.
• Portfolio with published native Android apps.
• Experience architecting libraries, SDKs, and tools.
• Proficiency with AI development tooling.
• Ability to lead and mentor developers.
• Experience with CI/CD processes.

• Experience customizing Android OS on x86 hardware
