You will define the technical vision for the platform, guide modernization efforts, and manage a 10+ person engineering team across locations to ensure reliable, high-performance order processing and account management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional engineering experience, including staff-level and team-lead roles.
• Experience with tier-zero or mission-critical systems at scale (millions to tens of millions of QPS).
• Proven ability to manage engineering teams ~10 engineers and to lead architectural migrations or modernization efforts.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical vision and roadmap for the platform (tier-zero order processing and account management).
• Lead and develop a team of 10+ engineers, coaching and mentoring; set a high technical bar and foster ownership.
• Drive modernization initiatives, including storage bottlenecks and performance improvements.
• Own reliability and uptime KPIs (SLOs, high availability, capacity planning, rapid incident recovery).
• Collaborate across infrastructure and product teams to align on technical direction and standards.
• Proactively identify scalability and reliability risks; champion preventative solutions and incident response.
