Job summary

Our client is a global fintech building blockchain-based infrastructure for payments, tokens, and financial applications. The Staff Software Engineer will extend their systems, design scalable APIs, and work with product and engineering to deliver secure, reliable services.

Responsibilities include building micro-services, integrating with banks, and driving best practices in coding and testing while collaborating with remote teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in professional software development with Go or Java.
• Computer Science degree or closely related field.
• Technical leadership of teams >4 on architecture and design.
• Expert in API design, payments processing, or blockchain.
• Deep understanding of scalable software, Web3, REST, cloud, and containers.
• Focus on coding standards and test coverage for CD.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with remote teams.
• Self-starter who ships fast and improves continuously.

Responsibilities

• Extend in-house blockchain infrastructure for tokenization and value transfer.
• Build and own scalable micro-services with secure APIs.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to design and document systems.
• Troubleshoot and restore normal operations when issues arise.
• Develop public APIs for developers to integrate with payments systems.
• Integrate platform services with banks and fintechs.
