Job summary

Horizon3 is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the technical work for NodeZero's defensive agents. You will set the direction with AI researchers and guide engineers building the platform underneath, owning technical strategy for autonomous remediation as a core product capability.

You will write production code weekly, review peers, and partner with Product to prioritize problems. This is a leadership role without direct people management but with architectural influence and hands-on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Deep experience with agentic/LLM-backed systems in production.

Responsibilities

• Owns end-to-end technical vision for the workstream and rallies the team.
• Contributes production code weekly and reviews teammates' PRs.
• Sets technical standards through design reviews and code quality.
• Mentors engineers and builds scalable architectures for others.
