Acceler8 Talent is seeking a Founding Software Engineer for an AI-driven finance platform in New York. The role focuses on building the core platform systems, including agent frameworks, context management, and orchestration, designed to serve product teams across the company.

Ideal candidates are senior ICs with a track record of delivering scalable backends and infrastructure, capable of shaping architecture and owning critical components in a fast-growing startup.

Qualifications

• Senior IC with platform-level impact noted in the posting.
• Strong backend and distributed systems knowledge.
• Experience building scalable, multi-tenant infrastructure or abstractions.

Responsibilities

• Own the agent harness enabling audit-grade AI agents on shared rails.
• Define abstractions for context, verification, guardrails, evaluations, observability, and tooling.
• Design the financial context graph: ledger state, dimensions, policies, contracts, entitlements.
• Build scalable, multi-tenant data ingestion, normalization, reconciliation, ledger models.
• Establish verification, auditability, reliability standards for safe AI outputs.
• Architect durable orchestration for long-running workflows and exact-write-backs.
• Collaborate with controllers and finance teams to translate workflows into reusable systems.
• Solve end-to-end challenges across AI systems, data infra, and product architecture.
