Job summary

Maximor AI is building the AI operating system for the CFO office in New York City. You will join a pod of engineers owning a finance domain end-to-end—revenue, cash, close, reporting, payroll, fixed assets, tax, or controls—and ship your own work from day one: context, prompts, tools, evals, and guardrails.

A senior engineer pairs with you at the start; you will work directly with controllers, accountants, and CFOs to design and implement the agent system that replaces legacy processes.

Qualifications

• New grads welcome to apply and start in this role.
• Experience building with AI agents is beneficial for this position.
• Familiarity with finance workflows or ERP contexts is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own a finance domain end-to-end—revenue, cash, close, reporting, payroll, fixed assets, tax, or controls.
• Build the agent system with context, prompts, tools, evals, and guardrails to automate workflows.
• Collaborate with controllers, accountants, and CFOs to understand current processes and replace them with AI agents.
