Job summary

Intuit, Inc.’s SCORE team is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead architecture and delivery of AI-powered tax savings discovery features. You will own cross-team technical direction, maintain high-quality production code, and mentor engineers while collaborating closely with product, tax experts, data science, and platform teams.

You will guide LLM-backed discovery, agentic flows, and reliable production AI practices, ensuring correctness and trust in tax-related outputs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience leading design and delivery of large-scale systems.
• Expertise in building/operating production services; proficient in Java, Scala, Python or equivalents.
• Experience with AI/ML-powered features, ideally LLMs, agentic systems, or retrieval.
• Strong system design skills and ability to make architecture decisions under ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and delivery of core savings discovery capabilities for SCORE.
• Lead cross-team initiatives from ambiguous problems to production launches.
• Write and review production code; establish patterns and best practices for LLM usage.
