Pinterest is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Ads Agent Infrastructure team to build and scale the foundation powering stateful AI agents across monetization and advertiser platforms. You’ll shape distributed architectures, memory services, and execution engines enabling resilient agent workflows.

You will drive design, observe system behavior, and ensure quality and correctness while collaborating with infrastructure, security and product teams.

Formación

• 8+ years of software engineering experience in distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with LLM agent frameworks and runtime internals.
• Ability to set technical direction and drive cross-functional alignment.
• Experience in service identity and multi-tenant security.
• Demonstrated use of AI to improve speed and quality of outputs.
• Strong focus on testing, verification and peer code review.

Responsabilidades

• Architect durable execution platforms for stateful AI agent workflows.
• Design MCP servers, SDKs and agent runtime interfaces.
• Establish observability, tracing, prompt versioning and cost governance.
• Drive technical strategy with infrastructure, security and product teams.

• Automate testing and grader pipelines for agent skills and memory services.
