AgileEngine, LLC. seeks a Staff Software Engineer to lead architecture and write production code for an AI-powered supply chain platform in Austin, TX.

The role requires 6+ years in software engineering with architecture ownership and 5+ years in production C# and ASP.NET Core, plus strong English communication. You will own ABP-based architectures, design major features end-to-end, and ensure secure, scalable systems across AWS GovCloud and government environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software engineering with architecture ownership.
• Led technical delivery across a team without formal authority.
• 5+ years of production C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Strong EF Core and PostgreSQL with migrations and indexing.
• Fixed .NET performance problems using perf tools.
• End-to-end feature shipping in Angular and TypeScript.
• Experience with AWS, containers, and CI/CD.
• Secure coding in regulated environments and high-assurance contexts.
• Clear communication with engineers and executives at all levels.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance; citizenship may be required.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Own architecture of ABP-based applications: module boundaries and shared libraries.
• Lead technical design for major features while writing production full-stack code.
• Set and enforce .NET standards through reviews, CI and mentoring.
• Build secure-by-design systems for AWS GovCloud and government environments.
• Ensure reliability, performance, and observability of shipped code, and fix root causes.
• Plan and lead major .NET and ABP upgrades while continuing feature work.
• Evaluate tools and frameworks and drive decisions.
• Translate business needs into technical priorities with leadership and document decisions.
