Job summary
FOX News Channel is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Information Security, to drive cybersecurity strategy through software engineering and automation. You will build enterprise-grade software, explore AI agents, tool-calling, and interoperability standards to safely automate security at scale.
You will advance zero-trust models, patching and vulnerability management, and AI-driven security remediations across on-prem and cloud environments. On-site collaboration is essential.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of Software Engineering experience
- Building enterprise-grade solutions on AWS
- Experience with AI-assisted software development workflows
- Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python development
- Experience with on-prem and cloud environments networking and security
Responsibilities
- Deliver cybersecurity strategy through software engineering and automation
- Implement solutions that provide visibility into on-prem and cloud environments
- Automate security workflows using AI agents and emerging technologies
- Build security software and microservices for internal teams
- Design and maintain API infrastructure integrated with multi-platform applications
- Collaborate with peers and internal customers on innovative security solutions
- Propose and implement automation to improve zero-trust in enterprise architecture
