Qualifications

• 9+ years experience in Software Engineering or related field with production software coding in multiple languages (C, C++, Java, Python, Go, etc.).
• Bachelor’s/Master’s/Doctorate path options with extensive software experience also acceptable.
• Experience with distributed systems, search at scale, and AI-enabled architectures is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and ship scalable code across GitHub services.
• Provide technical leadership and code reviews to grow engineering teams.
• Own system health, on-call rotations, and incident response.
• Write architecture briefs, run experiments, and drive technical roadmaps.
• Develop APIs for seamless integration between components.
