Job summary

Delinea is seeking a senior backend engineer to build and extend cloud backend capabilities for our Identity Security Platform. You will work on AI agent discovery, integrate with cloud discovery (Azure first, then AWS/GCP), and assess security posture of discovered agents to enable governance.

You will collaborate with platform teams to ensure robust integration and a scalable, secure enterprise solution. A strong background in cloud backends and security-focused development is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building production cloud or SaaS backend systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud provider APIs (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and asset discovery or inventory systems.
• Experience extending or integrating with an existing platform, not only greenfield builds.
• Strong skills in a modern backend language such as C#, Go, Java, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Build and extend cloud backend capabilities for Delinea's Identity Security Platform.
• Integrate AI agent discovery with existing cloud discovery, starting with Azure and expanding to AWS/GCP.
• Assess security posture of discovered agents and feed context into identity and attribution layers.
• Collaborate with platform teams to leverage discovery services and ensure coherent governance.
