Job summary

Google Software Engineers on the Ads Enterprise Platform team build next-generation, cross-channel ads buying platform using generative AI. You will shape multi-agent systems, model retraining, persona forecasting, and Cloud integration, collaborating with senior leads across the Ads org.

As part of Google Ads, you will influence design decisions, data processing and AI features to deliver measurable results for advertisers and agencies, with opportunities to switch teams as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of software development experience.
• 5 years testing and launching software products; 3 years design/architecture.
• 5 years ML design and ML infrastructure experience.
• Experience in prompt engineering, or multi-agent systems.
• Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
• 5 years of experience with ML design and ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, evaluation, data processing, debugging, and fine-tuning).
• Experience in prompt engineering, or multi-agent systems.
• Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.

Preferred qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
• Experience developing joint plans, driving alignment on shared goals, and navigating dynamic development environments to balance short-term benefits with long-term visions.

On the Ads Enterprise Platform team, you will help build the next-generation cross-channel ads buying platform based on generative AI technology. Project areas include building and tuning the multi-agent platform, instrumenting model retraining based on user actions, building digital consumer persona forecasting, Google Cloud integration and deployment, long-term memory and session management, and multi-user collaboration. You will work directly with senior leads within the Enterprise Platform and across the wider Ads organization to launch features for top advertisers and agencies.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $207000 - $300000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
