Job Title: Fullstack Engineer

Location: Remote – UK (Ideally based in London)

Contract Duration: 12 months (with potential extension)

Interview Process: 2-stage process

Stage 1: Technical Interview - 45 mins - Remote Whiteboard Session with 2 Engineers

Stage 2: Behavioural Interview - 45 mins with Hiring Manager

Responsibilities:

• Maintain backend APIs and integrations with 3rd party vendors.
• Build new AI agent supporting APIs to improve interviewing and qualification verification of workers.
• Migrate complex concepts from a monolithic Ruby on Rails app to standard service-oriented architectures, typically using Java Spring Boot OR Python Django.
• Be adaptable to various technologies, frameworks, and languages.
• Drive requirements and take ownership of large, complex projects or systems. Manage stakeholders across multiple projects and communicate proactively.
• Guide teams in designing and building large, reusable, and maintainable systems.
• Ensure code quality through reviews, maintaining standards for cleanliness, reliability, and functionality.
• Demonstrate polyglot abilities and willingness to work across different code bases, especially with Python/Django, Java/Spring Boot, Ruby/Rails, and experience with Rust is a plus.
• Break apart monoliths using appropriate strategies.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and coordinate across teams.
• Excel at solving problems both in code and outside of it.
• Stay passionate about developer productivity and AI advancements.
