This role is instrumental in leading engineering efforts, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and reliability across our systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, robust, and maintainable software solutions.
• Balance hands‑on coding responsibilities with engineering leadership and technical oversight.
• Establish engineering excellence and ensure systems are built for long‑term scalability and performance.
• Drive high‑impact projects from conception through delivery, aligned with company objectives.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Design, Data, Operations, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

Required Experience

• 12+ years of software engineering experience, including significant leadership experience within startup environments.
• Demonstrated success leading complex software development initiatives while remaining actively involved in coding.
• Experience building and maintaining large‑scale systems.

Technical Expertise

• Extensive software development experience with strong proficiency in Python.
• Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud, and Docker.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices, including:
• Continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to simplify complex systems.
• Ability to design and build scalable, resilient applications.
• Passion for leveraging technology to improve healthcare and empower individuals to manage their health.

Enhance integration across diverse health data sources, including wearable devices, medical records, and related systems. Ensure secure, seamless, and efficient data flow that enables comprehensive health insights and a holistic view of member health.
