Dimaag, based in Fremont, CA, is seeking an experienced software engineer to develop software solutions for electric vehicle technologies. The role involves analyzing user needs, designing, and deploying software for vehicle control and battery management in C/C++.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and over five years of experience in software and firmware development, particularly in real-time systems. No telecommuting or travel required, and candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions applying computer science and mathematical analysis.
• Conceptualize, design, develop, test, validate, and deploy software for EV technologies including motor-control and charging.
• Design, implement, and debug embedded software for vehicle control and battery management in C/C++.
• Contribute to architectural design of embedded systems including firmware and communication protocols.
• Develop real-time operating system software, optimizing scheduling for time-critical vehicle applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 5+ years of progressive experience.
• Software and firmware development experience.
• Embedded software development for automotive or similar real-time systems.
• C, C++ programming in real-time operating systems.
• Real-time OS, software architecture, and communication protocols.
• ARM processors and ARM development tools.
• Debug circuit boards using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG debuggers.
