Job summary

Hillview Consulting Solutions seeks an experienced Staff Software Engineer to lead design and development of scalable enterprise applications, driving AI adoption across teams. This hands-on technical leader will mentor engineers, influence technology strategy, and champion modern cloud-native architectures.

You will shape backend services, APIs, and AI-powered workflows while aligning with product and business goals in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline
• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Backend development with C#, Node.js, Java or similar OO languages
• Distributed systems, microservices, RESTful APIs, scalable architecture
• Public cloud experience: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
• Experience with Generative AI solutions using LLMs or AI orchestration
• Strong SQL and NoSQL knowledge
• CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code and modern delivery
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor teams

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and development of enterprise-scale full-stack applications
• Design scalable backend services, APIs, and modern web applications
• Build and integrate AI-powered solutions including AI copilots and LLM workflows
• Drive engineering best practices for architecture, code quality, testing, security, and deployment
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to translate objectives into technical solutions
• Improve app performance, reliability, scalability, and resilience
• Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership across projects
• Evaluate and introduce modern development frameworks, cloud technologies, and AI engineering tools

• .Backend development experience with technologies such as C#, Node.js, Java, or similar object-oriented languages
• .Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, RESTful APIs, and scalable application architecture
• .Experience working with public cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
• .Hands-on experience developing or integrating Generative AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), AI orchestration frameworks, or autonomous AI workflows
• .Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• .Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code, and modern software delivery methodologies
• .Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineering teams
