WME in Beverly Hills is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to design and build scalable web applications and APIs, shaping architectural direction and mentoring engineers across the platform. You will partner with product managers and designers to deliver thoughtful solutions, embrace AI-assisted development, and help evolve systems as the company scales in the entertainment industry.
This role requires 10+ years of experience, strong full-stack skills, and comfort in a fast-paced, evolving
WME is building the next generation of internal platforms that power one of the world’s leading entertainment companies.
We’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, shaping architecture, and building systems that become foundational to how an organization operates. The software we build helps agents and teams manage relationships, deals, and opportunities across the global entertainment industry.
You’ll partner closely with product managers and designers to build thoughtful, scalable systems that support critical business workflows. As a Staff Engineer, you’ll help influence architectural direction, mentor engineers, and tackle some of the most complex technical challenges across the platform.
We’re also investing heavily in AI-assisted development, and engineers on this team actively use modern AI tools and workflows to improve development velocity and product quality. We’re building this engineering organization largely from the ground up, so we’re looking for engineers who enjoy scrappy environments, are comfortable navigating ambiguity, and want to help shape how a team operates.
We’re looking for engineers who like owning meaningful problems end‑to‑end and helping shape both the systems and the engineering culture around them.
We take the work seriously, but not ourselves.
AI tools are part of our everyday engineering workflow. We encourage engineers to use modern AI‑assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, and system design. We’re also actively exploring how AI can enhance the systems we build.
