The Staff Software Development Engineer (Strategy & Operations Lead) is a hybrid leadership role responsible for driving both technical execution and organizational effectiveness across the myPBM organization. This individual will provide engineering leadership for strategic initiatives while serving as a trusted partner to senior leadership in driving operational excellence, organizational priorities, governance, and business outcomes.
Approximately 60 % of the role will focus on software engineering leadership, technology strategy, architecture, delivery execution, and technical mentorship. The remaining 40% will focus on strategic planning, leadership reporting, operational governance, KPI management, organizational communications, financial planning support, colleague engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
For the right candidate, we can consider remote US but there may be travel required.
7+ years of experience in large-scale software development with demonstrated technical leadership experience including the following:

The typical pay range for this role is:
$118,450.00 - $236,900.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
