Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent practical experience considered.
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience including enterprise-scale systems.
• Experience leading technical initiatives across multiple teams, products, or boundaries.
• Experience designing distributed systems, APIs, integration platforms, or cloud-native apps.
• Proven ability to influence technical direction without formal management authority.
• Experience mentoring engineers and driving best practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and influence architectural direction across the Access Engineering portfolio.
• Lead technical strategy for initiatives spanning multiple products, systems, and teams.
• Evaluate architectural tradeoffs and guide toward scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Create reusable technical patterns, reference implementations, and standards.
• Promote best practices for software quality, reliability, security, observability, and maintainability.
• Drive efficiency in tooling, platform capabilities, and development workflows.
• Contribute hands-on in design, prototyping, and critical development efforts.
