Staff Site Reliability Engineer - remote

CyberArk is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to bring their expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and reliability. The role involves designing and implementing AWS infrastructure, leading automation efforts, guiding teams on reliability best practices, and ensuring high availability of SaaS environments. Candidates should have extensive experience with AWS, containerization, observability tools, and scripting languages.

Responsibilities include:

1. Design and implement AWS infrastructure components such as VPCs, EC2, EKS, S3, tagging schemes, CloudFormation, etc.
2. Lead architecture, design, and automation of cloud-based deployment and management solutions.
3. Guide Site Reliability and DevOps Engineers on reliability and performance optimization.
4. Utilize configuration management tools like CloudFormation, Helm, Terraform, Salt, Ansible across Windows and Linux.
5. Ensure cloud architectures meet availability and recoverability standards.
6. Implement cloud monitoring, alerting, and reporting using tools like Datadog, Logz.io, CloudWatch, ELK.
7. Support tooling that enhances team output and reliability.
8. Stay updated on the latest technology trends and dive into architecture details as needed.
9. Collaborate with team leads to identify improvements, develop architecture roadmaps, and advocate for product enhancements.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years managing AWS infrastructure.
• Minimum 7 years in senior, architect, or technical lead roles related to site reliability, systems engineering, or software development.
• Deep understanding of site reliability, infrastructure, and cloud platforms.
• Expertise with Docker/Kubernetes, observability tools, web services, databases, and infrastructure architectures.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Java, and configuration management.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience supporting enterprise SaaS environments.
• Security knowledge and experience with AI/ML models are a plus.
