TEAM
The Automated Driving & ADAS organization focuses on developing a scalable, data-driven approach to autonomous and assisted driving software. We collaborate with partners across Toyota, offering numerous opportunities to integrate cutting-edge technology into consumer vehicles globally. To continuously improve and thoroughly test our driving systems, we build powerful developer workflows that leverage real-world data and state of the art in-house and third party simulation technologies.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
The Simulation Core team is seeking an experienced Staff Simulation Engineer with a strong background in developing engines, frameworks, and client APIs in Rust or C++, as well as Python. They will design and develop simulation software with portability, modularity, and reusability in mind in order to meet the diverse needs of vehicular technology development and testing across Toyota programs. By driving the team roadmap, guiding the team on technical decisions, and owning simulation workflows, you will play a key role in building our critical AD/ADAS simulator tools.

$161,000- $230,000 a year.
Your base salary is one part of your total compensation. We offer a base salary, short term and long term incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package. The California pay scale for this full time position is $161,000- $230,000. The total compensation offered to an employee will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and level.
